Betta Breuhaus' Tony (Ch QuikSilvr Dare To Believe SH SDX RDX VX) ran his first Master brace last weekend at the Tarheel Weim club hunt tests in Jackson Springs, NC. He qualified both days. He ran again this weekend at the Vizsla Club of the Carolinas hunt tests in Chester, SC. He again qualified both days. He has now qualified 4 out of 4 runs in two weekends, owner/breeder trained and handled.

Jay Wyman's Kacey Rockville’s Scarlette O’Tara, SH, RN, CGC, earned her first MH leg this Sunday at the Gold Country English Setters Hunt tests at Grizzly Island Preserve, Fairfield, Ca. It was a long brace where Kacey found and worked 5 birds--including missed shots where Kacey held perfectly and didn't chase.
A perfect honor from 20 yards away and finding 2 more birds on the walk back ended the test with Kacey getting mostly 8's, 9's and a 10.
 
Also compliments from the judges on her drive and her nose. It was a lot of work but all our hard work finally paid off. Kacey had an Arby's on the way home and curled up and slept most of the way.
 

BIF/CH Driftwood's Once Upon A Time, JH, NSD "Cinders" earned her JH title in the 4 consecutive attempts with good scores. She is now in training for SH and is doing quite well. Owner / handler Joan Mulford of Driftwood Weimaraners, Cary, NC.
 

  Silversmith Chateau Margaux, JH, NSD  qualified for her 4 JH legs with great scores in her first 4 tests.  She won Best Bitch In Sweepstakes at the Charleston Specialty. Tilda is adored/owned and bred by Elena Lamberson

Quinn had another great weekend with two 3rd placements in all-breed stakes on August 21 and an all-breed Amateur Gun Dog win for three more points and his AFC title on August 22nd! Quinn is owner trained and handled by Carmen Spencer. He  won a 3-point Amateur Gun Dog retrieving stake at the Oregon German Wirehaired Pointer Club on June 13.  Quinn qualified for his MH on 6/20/10!! He has 6 show points too.

Quinn had a great showing at an all breed trial July 31 and August 1. He came away with placements in the four stakes he entered. Quinn won the Open Limited Gun Dog; 2nd in the Amateur Gun Dog; 3rd in the Amateur Limited Gun Dog; and 4th in the Open Gun Dog. The following weekend, August 7 & 8, Quinn took 2nd in Amateur Gun Dog and 1st in Open Gun Dog. Quinn is owner trained and handled by Carmen Spencer.
 

  BISS/BIF & Multiple Group winner, Ch. Pike's Peak Silversmith Summit, SH, SDX,NRD VX qualified for his Senior Hunter on April 11.  He was trained and handled by Rick Hopkins WalnutHill GSPs in Lafayette,GA. Summit is working on his MH with Scott Edwards.

Raker finished his MH in fine style on April 11, 2010. With the exception of his honoring scores (what can I say, it's hard for him to just stand there while another dog flubs up the retrieve) he received all 8's, 9's, and 10's and many compliments from his judges. Raker is now U-CD, U-AG1 Ch. Silberkinder Moonraker CD, RA, MH, MX, MXJ, NRD, VX3, NAVHDA NA Prize III, CGC, certified service dog. He has 4 points toward his FC/DC. Raker was amatuer owner trained and handled to all of his titles. He is trained through the Utility level in obedience, and we plan to pursue his CDX, and UD as soon as possible.

Silversmith Catch Of The Day, NRD, NSD won a 3 pt major  at the Charleston KC from the 9-12 puppy class  & another 1 pt in Asheville handled by her owner Megan Lamberson.  "Catcher" also went RWB to a 4 pt major at the GCWC specialty.  She has 8 pts & 3 legs on her JH and  is owned by Elena and Megan Lamberson

  New Ch and BISS Driftwood's Time Out Of Mind, JH, NRD, NSD V "Bobby" won another 5 pt specialty major and finished his CH at the Gr Charleston Weim Club Specialty on 1/29/10. He was  moved up and went BOB over 9 specials at the Charleston KC show on 1/31/10.   Driftwood's Once Upon A Time - "Cinders" won a 5 pt major from the BBE class at the Gr Charleston Weim Club Specialty show on 1/19/10.  Cinders finished at the Tarheel shows with a 3rd major.  She is in training for JH and NRD.

 

Ch. Silversmith Blosser Evolution, SH, SDX, NRD, V - Eva qualified for her SH in her first 4 tests (on 1/17/10) and her 3 pups each got JH legs. Eva also has one MH leg. She will be bred to Ch. Smokey Topaz Grey Hawk, MH, NA, CD for a repeat breeding of our nice litter last year.

Zauberhaft Weimaraners qualified for a NAVHDA NA Breeder's award this fall for it's Oct. 2008 litter (CKC CH Weatherrun's Perfect Storm FD, RD, VX, NAVHDA UT I x CH Grayangel Lady Ella von Gaul NRD). 4th MH Leg! From Deb and Jim Ebert:  Zephyr got another leg towards her master hunter last weekend near Phoenix area.....only one more to go!  Initially I was disappointed she didn't pass the second day, but considering the grounds, she did okay.  Mostly sand and not much cover.  The quail are walking around and easy to see which made it hard for Z to resist jumping right in. It was warm, too.  Wow we sure can make a lot of excuses.  She finished at her next set of tests!
