 CONSTRUCTION

     February 15, 2006 (0.5 Hours)Cumulative build time, 13 hours
 Surprisingly it only took
about 30 minutes to finish soldering the board. I built a ground buss bar out of
some thick copper wire. Sanding off the varnish took about 5 minutes. The main
focus was to make sure each joint was soldered well and all was wired correctly.
The board is hereby deemed complete. FINISHED BUILDING THE CIRCUIT BOARD

    |
    BEFORE: The board has only
been soldered on the "hot" side (top row of turrets in this photo). The grounding buss bar
is not in place, and none of the joints in the lower row of the photo have
    been soldered. |
    AFTER: I've added a copper
ground buss. Click on the photo for a larger version. All the ground turrets
have been soldered, as have all the others. The board is finally complete.
I'll start painting the chassis tomorrow. I know it looks great shiny, but
this build is going to be gloss white. I'll build a shiny one in the future. |
